Casa da Árvore is a small retreat in Praia do Rosa, full of charm and surrounded by nature, thoughtfully created with guests’ well-being in mind and to inspire a deeper connection with nature. Two homes surrounded by more than 1,500 m² of native forest, designed to welcome families, friends, or couples seeking moments of rest and connection.

Both houses are located on the same property, yet each enjoys its own space, privacy and private parking. Nestled among the trees and thoughtfully positioned to ensure independence from one another, they offer a peaceful experience immersed in nature. We are located 900 meters from the beach via a scenic 15-minute trail and just 250 meters from the village center, where you will find restaurants, cafés, bars and artisan shops.

Praia do Rosa

A bay among the most beautiful in the world.

Praia do Rosa is a bay protected by two hills, on the southern coast of Santa Catarina, the only Brazilian beach that is a member of the Club des Plus Belles Baies du Monde (Berlin, 2003) and the National Capital of the Southern Right Whale. Southern right whales return from July to November, often just 100 meters from the shore. For lovers of the sea, surfing is present throughout every season of the year.

Getting there

Ninety-five kilometres
between the plane and the door.

Fly to Florianópolis. From there, it’s a one and a half hour drive along the BR-101 south, following the coast of Santa Catarina. The final minutes to reach us are on a dirt road.

95 km · about 1h30 by car via BR-101 south. Uber is available in the area and can be easily used, or you can rent a car at the airport.

Check-in is from 4 pm and check-out until 12 pm. However, whenever possible, we try to be flexible with timings, depending on upcoming bookings and the availability of the house.

The slope sits between Ibiraquera Lagoon and the Atlantic, three hundred metres from the ocean. These are the exact coordinates of our entrance, where the asphalt ends and the dirt trail begins.

Do you accept pets?
Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome, we just ask that you let us know when booking so we can arrange the details.
What is the minimum stay?
The minimum stay is 2 nights in both Casa de Cima and Casa de Baixo. During the high season (December to March) and Brazilian holidays, we may require longer minimum stays.
Do you have parking?
Each house has private parking within the plot, next to the respective entrance.
When is the best time to come?
From December to February, summer arrives in full force, with vibrant days, warm ocean waters, and the lively energy of Praia do Rosa. From March to May, the sea remains mild, the days are still sunny, and the beaches become more peaceful. June and July invite you to slow down, with a lit fireplace, a cozy atmosphere, and the best of winter surfing. From August to October, whale season begins, offering a unique natural spectacle. November and December announce the arrival of summer, with longer days, pleasant temperatures, and the ocean beginning to warm.
How far is the sea?
We are located about 900 meters from the ocean, approximately a 10 to 15-minute walk along a charming dirt trail surrounded by nature and beautiful scenery. The path leads to the area near Rosa Sul, making the walk to the beach part of the experience itself. It is also possible to go by car, reaching different areas of the beach in around 10 minutes, both at Rosa Sul and Rosa Norte.

How far is it from the center
Just 250 meters from the center, a short walk of around 3 minutes along a beautiful dirt trail leads to the heart of Praia do Rosa, where you will find restaurants, bars and shops that blend into the relaxed and charming atmosphere of the village.
